When you first register for a Roblox account, you get a Character and a Place.
Your character represents you in-game. When you Visit a Place you pop into the Place and move about as your Character. You can choose from eight different models for your character. The character model is two legs and arms, a torso and a head. The torso and legs are of varying colors, while the arms and head are pale yellow. While the Roblox logo decal on the torso is the only one now, there will be a set to choose from soon.
In-game, you can attach objects to your character, shoot rockets, drive vehicles, etc.
