The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact elegant vacuum cleaner that can mop floors. 3. Roomba X40 from iRobot
With a sleek circular design that looks like a regular Roomba than the competitors' compact models this mop and robot vacuum is one of the most attractive designs in our tests. iRobot's latest flagship model also is its most advanced model, with features that are cutting-edge like enhanced dirt detection technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).
It's also the sole robot vacuum/mop that scored the perfect 10/10 out of 10 in our testing. This is due to the combination of high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that is fully self-refill and empty its base station, and it boasts the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.
Like other iRobot models as well, the X40 is user-friendly, offering an intuitive mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only issue is that it's still quite a noisy unit that could be problematic if you run it in the morning before work or at night as you try to sleep.
